The STR industry's most talked-about fringe event. One hotel. Four days. The best VRMA experience you will ever have.
Most people walk into VRMA not knowing a single soul. They leave the same way.
You arrive on Sunday already knowing 70 operators, peers, and people who actually get what you're building.
Four days of community, late nights on Broadway, penthouse breakfasts, masterminds, surprises, and the kind of conversations that don't happen on a conference floor.
This is how you have the best VRMA Nashville experience possible.
Backstage Nashville is where to be.

Hundreds of people. Packed schedule. Everyone already seems to know someone. You spend day one wondering why you booked the flight.
They happen at midnight in a honky-tonk with six people who get it. If you don't know where to be, you miss every single one.
Three days of sessions, a notebook full of ideas, and back to the same problems on Monday morning. Same OTA dependency. Same desk.
We've taken over an entire hotel 12 minutes from the VRMA venue. You will know everyone in the building before you arrive. Mark Simpson — your Nashville concierge — knows every vendor party, every session worth attending, and every person worth meeting. You will not ride into Nashville alone. You will ride in with a crew.
The Honest Filter
Four days, one house, 70 operators. Read both lists before you apply.
This Is For You If…
This Is Not For You If…
Not LinkedIn connections. Not people you vaguely recognise from a conference corridor. People who've sat in a penthouse with you, solved real problems together, and stayed up too late on Broadway.
"The most talked-about fringe event, mastermind, and retreat at VRMA 2026."
The Programme

The Maddox · Hotel Facilities
The Maddox is not a standard hotel. Every suite has its own kitchen, living space, and game room. But beyond the suites, the building has everything you need for four days away from home.
🎱 Suite Game Rooms
Every suite in the building has its own game room setup. Pool tables, air hockey, shuffleboard, or a full bar depending on which suite you are in. Your common space for every evening.
Included in your suite for the full 4 nights.
👨🍳 Full Kitchens
Every suite has a fully equipped kitchen. The Skyline Penthouse has a full chef's kitchen that seats 18. Cook if you want. You probably won't want to — but the option is there.
Included in every suite.
📡 High-Speed Wi-Fi
Fast Wi-Fi and smart TVs with streaming throughout every suite. Whether you need to work between sessions or catch up in the evenings — the building has you.
Included throughout the building.
The Maddox is not a hotel room with a bed and a minibar. It is a full apartment building. Every suite is a home for your team for four nights.
The Hitchcock · Ground Floor · 530 Church Street
The Hitchcock is not a hotel bar. It is a proper cocktail lounge — 1,900 square feet of art deco design on the ground floor of the same building you are sleeping in. $600,000 fit-out. Original terrazzo floors from 1893, discovered beneath 30 years of Subway flooring during the build-out. Designed by Sorci Design Group.
Run by Gabe Fuenmayor — the man behind Bar Sovereign, one of Nashville's most respected cocktail programmes. Specialty cocktails inspired by the building's history. High-end wine list. Beers on tap. Finger food, pizza, and charcuterie.
Described by Nashville Scene as a moody cocktail emporium with a bit of a speakeasy feel — a small screen at the door plays a film of an eye peering through a peephole. No password required. The door is open. It is becoming a lobbyist bar thanks to its proximity to the Tennessee State Capitol. The clientele are professionals, not bachelorettes. Broadway is three blocks away and 39 steps downhill.
The people who end up here are the ones who want a proper drink in a proper room. That is our crowd.
About the building.
The building was constructed in 1893 and has been called The Hitchcock since the beginning. Seven storeys. 48,000 square feet. Corner of Church Street and 6th Avenue North. It has housed a Harvey's department store, a drugstore, and over 30 years of Subway. When the team pulled up the Subway floors during the build-out, they found the original 1893 terrazzo tile still there underneath. That floor is now part of the bar. The bar name has nothing to do with Alfred Hitchcock the filmmaker. The building was always The Hitchcock.

Good Questions
Eligibility, what's included, the application process, the schedule — all answered.
Every year there are people who wish they'd applied. Don't be one of them in 2026. The room fills with the right people or it doesn't fill at all. Either way — this is where you find out which one you are.
